Legacy Series

Wherever we go, people talk to us about their families, business successes and personal achievements.

“My grandfather,” someone says, “was caught up in the Boer War. He was only a boy at the time, but he had quite a turn of phrase – a gift really – and his letters home were fascinating. We still have a boxful of them around the house somewhere.”

Those letters are the basis for a Legacy Book. Unfortunately the fate of most old family letters is the family bonfire.

“My mother,” someone else tells us, “had six wonderful uncles, every one of them a CPR engineer in the days when little boys dreamed of driving a train – and little girls did, too, but kept it to themselves. I well remember Uncle Mart climbing onto the back of a chair to show us how a crow fell out of a tree when his engine…

“Somebody should write a book before those stories are forgotten.”

Don’t let your achievement – athletic, business, career – be lost. Talk to Trinity Enterprise Inc.
  • We’ll advertise for relatives, friends, or business associates of your hero, heroine, or family.
  • We’ll help you to gather documents.
  • We’ll edit your story for you.
  • We’ll even write it for you if you like.
  • And when it’s finished we’ll help you distribute and sell your book- that’s if you want your secrets made public.
  • We’ll do all or some of these steps, depending on how much you want to invest in the project. We have a tried and true method.

If you're wondering whether the work would be worthwhile; how many people would actually want to read a book about your legacy when it appeared, we can say that one of our editors is descended from a young couple who arrived in Saint John in the 1840's with one little girl. Today she can easily count up four or five hundred of their descendants without pausing for breath. Sadly, though, most of those descendants know little – if anything – about that young couple, even who they were. It’s time they did. They would probably like to have a legacy book, in hard copy or e-copy.

For an example of the kind of first-rate work we can do, we’ll show you a copy of From Cloddy Earth to Glittering Gold, or you can download the first chapter free at www.trinityenterprise.ca. This is the story of a Canadian gold rush based on the life of James Paul Norrie, who was born on a farm near Truro, Nova Scotia and died in Noranda, Quebec in 1945 after a fascinating career as a mining engineer and mine developer in the gold belt.

We are presently at work on two other Legacy Books. Don’t wait. Your stories are important. Don’t let them fade into oblivion.
